Pricing FAQ

What is included in the planning fee?

The fee covers research, hour-by-hour route sheet, Arabic driver brief, and one revision before arrival. Monument tickets, tomb guides, balloons, and taxis are separate unless we explicitly prepay on your behalf.

Which track fits a one-day cruise port?

East Bank Explorer suits ships with ten to twelve hours in Luxor focusing on Karnak and Luxor Temple. West Bank Runner needs an earlier start and works when your ship overnights or arrives pre-dawn.

Can I switch tracks after paying?

One revision is included. Major track changes after we deliver the sheet incur a small replan fee quoted upfront.

Do you accept card payment?

We invoice in Egyptian pounds or euros via bank transfer for international clients. Card payment is available at our Luxor office for walk-ins.

Are children discounted?

Planning fees are flat per party up to six travellers. Larger families receive a quoted group rate.

What if balloons cancel?

Luxor Coordinator and West Bank Runner tracks include backup tomb or museum blocks. Optional same-day hotline reroutes without replan charge during your travel dates.

Payment process

After you submit the contact form, we email a quote matching your selected track. Payment confirms planning start; delivery typically arrives three to five business days before travel unless rush fees apply for arrivals under seventy-two hours. Invoices list ETA tax ID 813-926-475 for corporate expense reporting.

Rush and group adjustments

Arrivals within seventy-two hours add EGP 450 rush research fee due to tomb bulletin lead time. Groups above six travellers receive custom quotes—West Bank golf cart sharing and multiple taxi cards may apply. Children do not reduce research complexity when tomb stairs vary; we still assess mobility per traveller.

Refund stance

If we fail to deliver a sheet before your stated arrival date, full planning fee refunds apply. Client-side date changes after delivery trigger replan fees quoted upfront. Monument ticket purchases remain your responsibility— we do not hold ticket inventory.

Sample monument costs separate from planning fees

Ministry ticket prices change in Egyptian pounds independently of our fees. Budget separately for Valley of Kings standard ticket, premium tomb add-ons, Valley of Queens, Karnak combined ticket, Luxor Temple, Luxor Museum, and Habu Temple. Our sheets list prevailing categories at delivery time without marking up—pay booths directly.

Balloon vouchers range widely by operator basket size—planning fee does not include balloon seat. Felucca captain tips and taxi waits likewise remain client-side cash expenses we estimate but do not collect.

Corporate and travel agency billing

Agencies booking multiple clients receive consolidated invoices with GAFI registry 524891 and ETA 813-926-475 for their AP departments. Net-14 terms available for established agency partners—contact the office before bulk submissions.

Fee comparison with on-ground guides

Full-day licensed Egyptologist guides cost substantially more than planning-only fees—we are not substituting for in-tomb narration unless you hire guides separately. Planning fees resemble travel design retainers: research, documentation, revision. Guides plus drivers remain optional line items you arrange or we reference without markup.

VAT and receipts

Invoices show ETA tax ID 813-926-475 for deductible business travel where your jurisdiction allows. Tourists on holiday generally cannot reclaim Egyptian VAT—receipts still document planning expense separately from monument tickets.

Optional same-day hotline at EGP 450 covers one calendar day of WhatsApp or voice reroutes with additional days quoted per table without automatic renewal charges.

East Bank Explorer suits photographers prioritizing Luxor Temple sunset over any West Bank tomb because fee reflects research depth rather than kilometres travelled.

West Bank Runner premium tomb assumptions exclude guaranteed KV17 Seti I access—if Seti closed, fee unchanged because rotation research still applies to substitute tombs.
